Some Truth About GOD

GOD IS PATIENT.
​​The Lord is not delaying the fulfillment of his promise, as some define delay, but he is being very patient with you. He doesn’t want anyone to be lost, but everyone to come and repent. 2 Peter 3:9

GOD IS FAITHFUL.
That’s why you can be sure that the Lord your God is the true God, the faithful God who keeps his agreement
based on trustworthy love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. Deuteronomy 7:9

GOD IS GENEROUS.
If God is for us, who can be against us? God, who did not hold back his own Son, but gave him up freely for all of us, won’t he also freely give us everything? Romans 8:31-32

GOD IS GOOD.
For his sun shines on both the good and the bad; and he makes the rain fall on both those who do right and
those who do wrong. Matthew 5:45

GOD COMFORTS.
Praise be to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! He is the compassionate Father and the God of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those who are also in trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

GOD IS MERCIFUL.
So we should go confidently to God on his throne of grace so we can receive mercy, and discover grace
to help us when we really need it. Hebrews 4:16

GOD SAVES.
You should trust this saying that everyone should accept: “Christ Jesus came to this world to save sinners,” and I’m the worst of them. For this reason I was shown mercy -since I’m the worst sinner, Jesus Christ could demonstrate his infinite patience as an example to those who choose to trust in Him and gain eternal life.

GOD LOVES.
Look at the amazing kind of love the Father has for us! This is why we can be called God’s children -
for that’s who we are. 1 John 3:1

GOD FORGIVES.
But if we confess our sins, he is trustworthy and right so that he can forgive us our sins and make us clean
from all that is not right in us. 1 John 1:9

GOD IS GREATER.
The God who created the world and everything in it, the Lord of heaven and earth, doesn’t live in temples we make. He doesn’t need to be served by us as if he needed anything, since he is the source of all life for every living being. Acts 17:24-25

Some Truth About YOU

YOU ARE LOVED.
I’m absolutely convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor devils, neither the present nor the future,
nor powers, neither height nor depth, in fact nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

YOU ARE FREE.
So there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2

YOU ARE BLESSED.
God is able to graciously provide you with everything, so that you will always have all you need - with plenty to help others too. 2 Corinthians 9:8

YOU ARE UNIQUE.
You made me from the inside out, shaping me in my mother’s womb. I praise you for making me in such an awesome and wonderful way. Psalm 139:13-14

YOU ARE FORGIVEN.
He rescued us from the tyranny of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, through whom we have been set free and our sins forgiven. Colossians 1:13-14

YOU ARE REDEEMED.
Through him we gain salvation through his blood, the forgiveness of our sins as a result of his priceless grace.
Ephesians 1:7

YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS.
But in whatever ways such things gained me anything, I count them as a loss for Christ. Truly, I count everything as loss in exchange for the incredible benefit I’ve gained through knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.
I’ve thrown away all these things for him, and consider them trash, so that I might gain Christ. I want to be found in him, not being right because of what I’ve done, or what the law requires, but made right through confidence in Christ, set right by God through trusting in him. Philippians 3:7-9

YOU ARE ALIVE.
But God in his generous mercy, because of the amazing love he had for us even while we were dead in our sins, has made us alive together with Christ. Trusting in Him has saved you! Ephesians 2:4-5

YOU ARE TREASURED.
For you are the Lord your God’s holy people. The Lord your God has chosen you to be his own special people,
valued above all other peoples on the earth. Deuteronomy 7:6

YOU ARE SPOKEN FOR.
Don’t be afraid! I have saved you! I have called you by name; you are mine! Isaiah 43:1

Some Truth About FAITH

For we live by trusting in God not by seeing him. 2 Corinthians 5:7

Since we have such a great high priest who has ascended to heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us make sure
we hold on to what we say we believe. Hebrews 4:14

Now our trust in God is the guarantee of what we hope for, the evidence of what we can’t see. Hebrews 11:1

“I tell you, even if your trust was as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20

Now that we have been made right by God by trusting in him, we have peace with him through our Lord Jesus Christ.It’s through Jesus, trusting in him, that we’ve gained access to this position of grace where we now stand, looking forward with happiness and confidence to sharing in God’s glory. Romans 5:1-2

For through the Spirit we trust and wait in hope to be made right. For in Christ Jesus being circumcised or uncircumcised doesn’t achieve anything; it’s only trust working through love that matters. Galatians 5:5-6

“I do trust in you,” the man shouted out right away. “Help me not to distrust you.” Mark 9:24

You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you cannot see him now, you trust in him
and you’re filled with wonderful, indescribable happiness. Your reward for trusting in him is that you will be saved! 1 Peter 1:8-9

You can’t expect God to be pleased with you if you don’t trust him! Anyone who comes to God must believe that God exists, and that he rewards those who are searching for him. Hebrews 11:6

“Those who do what is right will live by trusting in God, and if they draw back from their commitment, I won’t be pleased with them.” But we’re not the kind of people who draw back and end up being lost. We are those who
trust in God to save us. Hebrews 10:38-39

Some Truth About HOPE

So let us hold onto the hope we’re telling others about, never hesitating, for God who promised is trustworthy.
Hebrews 10:23

We place our confidence in the Lord; he is our help and our defender. We are so happy about him, for we trust in his holy character. Lord, let your trustworthy love rest upon us as we hope in you. Psalm 33:20-22

But I still hope when I think about this: The trustworthy love of the Lord never ends, and his compassion has no limit. They’re new every morning. Lord, you’re completely faithful! Lamentations 3:21-23

This hope is our spiritual anchor - it’s both certain and reliable, and it takes us past the curtain to the presence of God. Hebrews 6:19

As for me, I will go on hoping in you, and I will praise you more and more. I will talk about your goodness
and your salvation every day, even though it is more than I can understand. Psalm 71:14-15

For we were saved by hope. Yet hope that’s already seen isn’t hope at all. Who hopes for what they can already see? Since we’re hoping for what we haven’t yet seen, we wait for it patiently. Romans 8:24-25

Only in God do I find peace; my hope comes from him. He is the one who protects me and saves me. He keeps me safe so I will not be in danger. Psalm 62:5-6

May the God of hope completely fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you will overflow
with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit! Romans 15:13

Some Truth About LOVE

“Though the mountains cease to exist and the hills disappear, yet my trustworthy love for you won’t cease to exist and my agreement of peace won’t disappear,” says the Lord, who shows you kindness. Isaiah 54:10

For God so loved the world, and this is how: he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who trusts in him
shouldn’t die, but have eternal life. God didn’t send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17

Dear friends, let us go on loving one another, for love comes from God. All those who love are born of God and know God. 1 John 4:7

Trust, hope and love last forever - but the most important is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

May Christ live in you as you trust in him, so that as you are planted deep in love, you may have the power
to comprehend with all God’s people the breadth and length and height and depth of Christ’s love. May you know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you’re made full and complete by the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:17-19

I am giving you a new command: Love one another. Love one another in the same way I have loved you.
If you love one another you will prove to everyone that you are my disciples. John 13:34-35

For I always remember your trustworthy love, and I follow your truth. Psalm 26:3

The Lord your God is among you as a mighty warrior who saves. He will be so happy with you. He will renew his love for you. He will celebrate over you with loud singing. Zephaniah 3:17

Love is patient and kind; Love is not jealous. Love is not boastful. Love is not proud. Love does not act improperly, or insist on having its own way. Love is not argumentative and doesn’t keep a record of wrong.
Love takes no delight in evil but celebrates the truth. Love never gives up, keeps on trusting, stays confident,
and remains patient whatever happens. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

“‘Love the Lord your God in all you think, in all you feel, and in all you do.’ This is the greatest commandment, the first commandment. The second is just like it, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All biblical law and the writings of the prophets depend on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:37-40

Some Truth About GOD’S PROMISES

GOD CAN ALWAYS BE FOUND.
Then you will call for my help, you will come and pray to me, and I will answer you. You will look for me and you will find me when you’re completely committed to looking for me. Jeremiah 29:12-13

GOD LOVES AND SAVES YOU.
But when the goodness and love of God our Savior was revealed, he saved us,not because of anything good
that we’ve done, but because of his mercy. He did this through the cleansing of rebirth and renewal of the Holy Spirit, which he poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior. Titus 3:4-6

GOD PROVIDES WHAT YOU NEED.
Through his divine power

Praise the wonderful nature of God forever and ever, for he is wise and powerful. He is in charge of time and history. He removes kings, and he sets kings in place. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD.
Ah, Lord God! You created the heavens and the earth by your great strength and power. Nothing is too hard for you! Jeremiah 32:17

Some Truth To PRAY

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
world without end. Amen.

Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory forever. Amen.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love. Where there is an injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy. O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love; For it is in giving that we receive. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time. Enjoying one moment at a time. Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace; Taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it.
Trusting that You will make all things right if I surrender to your will so that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with You forever in the next. Amen.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
